ALUS Grey-Bruce
This program recognizes land stewardship and assists farmers by funding the implementation of projects to produce ecosystem services. It recognizes the value of conserving ecologically sensitive parcels of marginal land while maintaining active agriculture on the more productive areas. Overall, ALUS aims to improve biodiversity on the agricultural landscape.
ALUS Grey-Bruce currently supports projects such as tree planting, wetland creation, buffer enhancement, exclusion fencing, grassland plantation/preservation, pollinator habitat and many more types of projects.

Ducks Unlimited Canada
DUC assists in restoring and creating small wetlands across Ontario’s rural and near-urban areas. They work with you to optimize unproductive lands on your property to improve resiliency and profitability. Small wetlands also provide habitat for waterfowl and wildlife and a multitude of benefits including climate resilience, flood/drought mitigation, water quality improvements and increased biodiversity on rural properties.

Grey Ag Services
Grey Ag is a non-profit agricultural resource centre based in Markdale, serving producers in Grey County and far beyond. They offer educational workshops and conferences for producers and hold administrative contracts with Grey Bruce Farmers' Week, Ontario Forage Council, Ontario Biomass Producers Co-operative, ALUS Grey Bruce, Georgian Soil & Crop Improvement Association, Grey County Soil & Crop Improvement Association, Grey County Experimental Acres' program, and Dufferin County Experimental Acres' program.

Grey County Economic Development
Grey County Economic Development is committed to building a sustainable and prosperous agriculture sector. Through ongoing engagement with farm operators, local producers, and agri-businesses, we identify key challenges, trends, and opportunities to ensure County support is targeted where it’s needed most. We collaborate with partners like Grey Ag Services to maintain connections with agriculture groups and initiatives such as ALUS and Ontario Soil & Crop. We also work closely with Grey County’s Climate Initiatives and Planning teams to help producers grow their operations, adapt to our changing climate, and protect the natural assets that define our rural landscape.

Maitland Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA)
Maitland Conservation is a community based organization dedicated to providing leadership to protect and enhance local water, forests and soil. The Maitland Stewardship team helps landowners to manage rural stormwater and to develop soil and water conservation systems (reforestation, berms, grassed waterways etc.) that will reduce damage to drainage infrastructure and reduce the loss of soil and nutrients from agricultural land.
